Growing up with 2 gay dads, I learned compassion, empathy and love at an early age. Growing up with asian, black and Mexican friends, I learned inclusivity and humanity at an early age. Growing up knowing that my great, great, great, great grandmother was Choctaw Indian, I learned the plight of Native Americans and the grim reality of genocide at an early age. Growing up with 2 grandfathers that fought fascism in World War 2, I learned the importance of Democracy at an early age.
With all senses engaged in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, and my constant yearning for learning and knowledge, my life long passion for art exposed itself in a desire to hold humanity to higher standards. Utilizing graphic arts and a determination to make a difference, my art is just one of the tools I use to fight for the freedoms, tolerance, equality and education that should be available to all mankind. The voiceless, repressed, marginalized, and exploited need to be liberated from a world of greed and insanity. I consider myself a co-conspirator in the evil plot to make the world a better place. An anti-imperialistic tyranny resisting, peace mongering, social revolutionist for truth, peace, freedom and civil disobedience.
